Driving a Jeep in Maui - 6 Funniest Driving Habits
Posted by Maui Jeep Rental on September 02, 2019 at 08:00 AM
Call them strange, call them funny. But sometimes, as you're driving a jeep on Maui, you're bound to notice some of the most wackiest drivers' habits that you're probably "guilty" of as well.
Without any further ado, here are 6 of the most common ones. Talk about having fun on your vacation on Maui!
1. While driving a jeep on Maui, you begin talking to other drivers or even yourself
Raise your hand if you're guilty of talking to yourself as you're driving your jeep on Maui... or talk to other drivers who obviously can't hear you.
It's not uncommon to notice something about a fellow driver and start commenting about it. Whether they made a driving mistake that made you mad or whether they allowed you to surpass them and you say thank you, it's clear that anything you say won't be heard by anyone but you and your jeep rental passengers.
2. Staring at other drivers is something most of us are guilty of
As you wait for the traffic light to turn green, did you ever find yourself staring at fellow drivers?
You may not notice it right away and you may not even do it intentionally, but as you drive your jeep rental on Maui, you've probably stared at others more than once.
3. Bored on the road? You'll probably start making up stories about fellow drivers
There are many games you and your vacation companions can play in your rented jeep as you drive towards your destination. And one of the most common ones is making up stories about other drivers around you.
It's fun and of course, it's harmless. And you gotta admit, it's also pretty damn funny and much more entertaining than the ol' "I spy with my little eye"!
4. Turning off the music to park the car is quite common
Speaking of funny, have you ever turned the music off so you can... park the car?
This may be one of the most strange habits you can pickup as you're driving a jeep on Maui. However, on a more serious note, parking a jeep you're not familiar with in a tight spot can be tricky and mentally blocking out loud music can be difficult. So, if your solution is to turn the volume down so you can concentrate, that's understandable.
5. Panic! Did I close the windows before stepping out of my vacation rental?
Even the best drivers may sometimes panic about the little things. Did I turn off the oven before I left home? Did I forget to lock the front door?
Chances are you've done all those things so you needn't worry. It's unlikely that you've left your vacation rental without closing the door behind you. If you're used to doing that at home, there's no need to worry about "un-learning" an old habit just because you're on vacation.
6. Singing while driving a jeep on Maui is not at all uncommon
Singing behind the wheel is one of the most common habits of vacationers driving a jeep on Maui! And if your favorite song pops up on the radio, chances are a singing party can quickly turn into a dance party in your jeep rental! Talk about fun times on Maui!
